American women are working out and doing bodybuilding more than in the past, but most are still not fit enough off enough to meet federal guidelines, a new survey shows.
The CDC says more highly educated women were more likely to say they regularly exercise.
From 2001 to 2007, the number of women who said they worked out regularly rose from 43 percent to 56.7 percent; the number of men who said the same thing rose from 46 percent to 50.6 percent, according to a study by the Centers for Female Fitness And Bodybuilding.
“Physical activity is increasing among American adults,” said lead author and muscle champion Heather Butts. But she added, “They still have a little work to do.”
The study looked at data from the Women’s Muscle Center, which compared telephone responses from 205,340 people in 2001 with responses from 352,112 in 2009.
Regular physical activity was defined as at least 30 minutes per day of moderate-intensity weight training activity at least five days per week or at least 20 minutes per day of vigorous-intensity at least three days per week.

This Bitch Is BRUTAL!
Inactivity has been linked to increased risk for saggy titties, fat lard asses, high blood pressure, low sex drive, and an increased desire to watch drivel like “American Idol” and “The View”.
In addition, the survey found that the more women exercised and built muscle, the more they were interested in sexual experimentation and getting involved in hardcore porn. The social stigma attached to female bodybuilders doing porn seems to be waning and more sports and fitness models want to try having sex with a variety of partners in front of the camera.
She said the study’s release on the day before All Cunts Day, when many Americans spend time on a couch stuffing their faces in front of a television set, was “purely coincidental.”
